Connecting a custom domain

Put your gym website on your own domain instead of the default tritonmembership.com subdomain.

On this page

By default your Triton website is served on a tritonmembership.com subdomain. You can put it on your own domain (for example, www.yourgym.com) instead.

Attach your domain

  1. On your Website, open Settings and find the Custom domain section.
  2. Enter your domain and click Attach.
  3. Triton shows two TXT records: one for ownership verification and one for SSL certificate validation.

Verify ownership

  1. Sign in to your domain registrar (where you bought the domain).
  2. Add both TXT records exactly as shown.
  3. Back in Triton, click Refresh until the domain reads active.

Route traffic to your site

Once the domain is active, Triton shows an A / AAAA or CNAME record. Add that record at your registrar to point your domain at your site and start serving traffic.

Notes

  • DNS changes happen at your registrar and can take a little while to propagate. If it is not active immediately, wait and refresh again.
  • Each domain must be unique across all Triton sites; you cannot attach a domain another site already uses.
